On the Alaskan Song or Mist Cove, we cruise a solitary
route between Juneau and Sitka, often anchoring alone in deep fjords.
Sometimes we're close enough to stare into the gaze of the Alaska
Brown bear, to be amused by the playful sea otters and sea lions,
and to watch shorebirds bustling about for tasty bits. You may see
orcasthe wolves of the seacruising in search of croutons
in the form of an unwary seal, sea lion or seabird. Bald eagles "cotton-ball" the fir trees, their white heads contrasting smartly with the dark
greenery. Colorful and comical puffins provide no end of amusement! |
