Reina Silvia
A "Queen" of Galapagos yachts
The Reina Silvia is Reconfigured!
The Reina Silvia has undergone an extensive reconfiguration to provide an even more luxurious Galápagos experience for her guests.
She now takes groups of 12 to 16 like-minded Galápagos adventurers with a highly trained crew of eight, including a multilingual Class III naturalist guide. While the Reina Silvia retains permission to carry 16 guests, she will usually sail with just 12 like-minded adventurers.

Built by Lydia Inc. of Stuart, Florida, USA and named after H. M. Queen Silvia of Sweden, with her gracious permission, Reina Silvia operates superbly-crafted natural history experiences in the Galápagos Archipelago.
Reina Silvia accommodates her guests in six staterooms. There is an “owners’ suite” on the top deck, a view stateroom on the main deck, and 4 staterooms on the lower deck. All staterooms can be configured with either two twin beds or one king-sized bed.
The four lower-deck staterooms can be configured with either two twin beds or one king-sized bed. Additionally, they each has a Pullman-style bed to accommodate a third guest. These staterooms are normally considered doubles, but upon guest request only, may be configured as triples.
All staterooms have en suite facilities including shower, lavatory and vanity, and individually-controlled air conditioning.
Reina Silvia is fully air-conditioned and features up-to-date security, safety, navigational and communications equipment, including cell and satellite telephone. From the well-equipped galley, excellent cuisine is served in the spacious dining room. A full range of beverages are served at the salon and upper deck bars.
She has a swimming-diving platform aft and an extended bow for whale and dolphin watching. Two pangas (zodiacs) transport guests to and from the yacht for shore visits, snorkeling, tours by sea and all other yacht entries and exits.
A desalinator provides abundant potable freshwater. A waste water treatment plant ensures all water from the Reina Silvia has been treated before it is released into the Galápagos waterways, making it one of the "greenest" yachts in the Islands.
